Utilising various printing methods, surfaces, and application, Deadset aims to deliver ‘Truth Through Portraiture’ as interpreted by six Australian photographers.
The group show, featuring Aimee Haan, Hannan Jones, James Whineray, Joel Wynn Rees, Linsey Gosper, and chief curator, Lloyd Stubber will demonstrate the various approaches involved by each artist on a common theme – portraiture.
To coincide with the opening of Deadset, an exclusive, limited-run photozine will be made available to celebrate the first collaboration between all six artists, and to highlight the priority of print as part of their practice and identity as creatives.
